“PSL is enough for me” – Shaheen Afridi reacts to on questions about playing in the IPL

Pakistan cricket team’s pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi had a solid reply when he was asked of playing in the biggest and the most cash rich T20 cricket league in the world, the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 has completed its league stage matches and the excitement for the upcoming playoffs is at the very peak, with both the new teams and Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore joining in the fight for the Trophy.

Indian Premier League (IPL) has come a long way since it was established in the year 2008, after the massive success of the 2007 T20 World Cup, which Team India won.

Legends of the game from around the world has plied their trade in the competition. However, things have changed since then. While in the early parts of the competition, neighbour Pakistan’s players were allowed to play, but now, due to political reasons, they can’t play in the IPL.

Pakistan has some really talented players who should play in the IPL, but, because of the conflict, it’s really not possible. One of those hot prospect in pacer Shaheen Afridi.

He was most recently asked about playing in the IPL, to which he replied saying that playing for the country is the most proudest moment. He added that playing all three formats for the Country and playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is enough for him.

Shaheen Afridi is one of many top pacers that Pakistan have produced over the years. Shaheen has played 25 Test matches and has 95 wickets to his name and 59 wickets from 30 ODIs and 47 wickets from 40 T20 International matches.
