After Ireland gave a shockwave to West Indies to qualify for the T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 round earlier, Zimbabwe proves their strength as they beat Scotland to land a berth in the Mega event.
After a shocking exit for the mighty West Indies team in the T20 World Cup 2022, many were expecting the same kind of result in the match between Zimbabwe and Scotland. However, the former truly stood-up to their reputation.
In another must win match between Zimbabwe and Scotland, the former defeated the latter by 5 wickets to qualify for the T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 round.
Batting first in the match, Scotland posted only 132 runs on the board. While chasing that, some great contribution from their star man Sikandar Raza and Craig Ervine helped them to victory.
Sikander Raza is a veteran for the Zimbabwe team and the fans are quite happy that Zimbabwe have qualified for the next round. Raza has been in great form lately and proved that once again as he is currently the highest run scorer in the T20 World Cup 2022, having scored 136 runs from 3 matches.
