The match number 15 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 is being played between the hosts Lahore Qalandars and the Peshawar Zalmi at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Lahore Qalandars (who currently sits 4th in the PSL 2023 Points Table) won the toss and captain Shaheen Afridi decided to bat first.
Fakhar Zaman and Mirza Baig opened the inning for the hosts, however, the latter was dismissed cheaply for 5 runs when it was only 7 runs on the board.
But then came young and said to be future star for the Pakistan team Abdullah Shafique. Shafique displayed an aggressive brand of cricket from the word get go.
He scored a quickfire 75 runs from 41 balls with a strike rate of 182. However, he was finally dismissed by James Neesham when he was getting even more dangerous with his aggressive play.
