The match number 14 of the Pakistan Super League 2023 season was played between hosts Karachi Kings and the Multan Sultans in Karachi on the 26th of February.
Batting first, Karachi Kings scored 167 runs. Matthew Wade scored 46 runs in 47 balls but however, it was the aggressive inning from Tayyab Tahir, who scored 65 runs in 46 balls that took Karachi to 167 runs total.
It looked an easy target to chase for the Multan side given the talent that their team have. However, other than the opening duo of Shan Masood and Mohammad Rizwan, both scored 26 and 29 runs respectively, no other batter could deliver for them and were dismissed for 101 runs only.
