Going into the match against South Africa, Twitter and Cricket experts were already criticizing and were unhappy with Pujara and Rahane’s selection.

The fans were given a shock as when the India’s playing XI was announced as they couldn’t see Shreyas Iyer’s name in the XI, who scored a brilliant hundred on his Test debut, whereas, Pujara and Rahane got the nod.

But, Pujara failed to live up to the opportunity given to him by the team management as he got out for Golden Duck.

Lungi Ngidi, the fast bowler of the host team, dismissed him on the first ball of his inning. Ngidi’s ball took the outer edge of the Pujara bat and went to Peterson, who made no mistake in catching it.

Pujara came to bat at the crease after Mayank Agarwal got out after scoring 60 runs. It was Lungi Ngidi who dismissed Mayank before dismissing Pujara.
