The match number 4 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season is currently going on in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium between hosts Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals.
This is the opening match of the tournament for both the teams and both of them are looking to get off to a winning start. Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar won the toss and opted to bowl first. However, his decision completely backfired Rajasthan Royals got off to a flying start.
The Royals scored 85 runs in the powerplay, thanks to brilliant batting from Jos Buttler. But even after his dismissal, Rajasthan inning was still flying as Sanju Samson then led the charge. He scored 55 runs in 34 balls.
After this inning, people are once again comparing Samson and KL Rahul as the latter failed in his first match yesterday.
