The Delhi Capitals is showing a great sportsmanship in their IPL 2023 opening match vs Lucknow Super Giants as the team has decided to hang their captain Rishabh Pant’s jersey on dugout.
The Delhi Capitals captain and the Indian cricket team wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant suffered a massive injury at the back end of the year 2022 that has ruled him out of cricket for a couple of months.
As a result of that, he is also missing the IPL 2023 and in his absence, Delhi Capitals have announced David Warner as the captain of the team for the IPL 2023. However, Delhi franchise is showing a great respect for their captain Pant.
