Fielding is a very important aspect of the game which helps a team in their winning cause. And we saw just something like that during the ongoing tri-nation series match between New Zealand and Pakistan at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch when wicketkeeper Devon Conway produced a stunner.

Well, after hearing wicketkeeper, you may it would a great stumping for a great catch behind the stumps, but believe me, it was nothing like and it wasn’t even a wicket, neither was a attempt at taking a catch.

The incident we are talking about happened of the 4th ball of the 12th over when Tim Southee was bowling and Shadab Khan was batting.

Of that 4th ball of the over, Shadab tried to play a sweep shot and ball took a fine edge and started racing towards the boundary, but what heroic did Conway produced there, he ran behind the ball and stopped the right before it could hit the boundary line, saving 2 runs.

No don’t normally see a wicketkeeper covering this big a distance as Conway cover almost 50 meters to get the reach of the ball and saved 2 runs. Keep in mind that Conway was wearing keeper’s pad and running with pad on is a really difficult ask. The video of the following incident is currently doing rounds on social media.
