Chasing the score of 159 runs, Mumbai Indians got off to a quick start, in which Ishan Kishan entered the field with an aggressive thinking. But on the other hand, on the occasion of his birthday, captain Rohit Sharma could not do anything special with the bat and gave his wicket to Ravi Ashwin after scoring just 2 runs.

At the same time, Ishan Kishan also returned to the pavilion after scoring 26 runs in 18 balls. Due to which Mumbai Indians lost their 2 wickets till the score of 41.

After this, a very important partnership between Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma for the third wicket, which worked to turn the match completely towards Mumbai Indians. Suryakumar Yadav scored 51 runs in 39 balls, while Tilak Verma also scored 35 runs in 30 balls. Mumbai Indians team the target in 19.2 overs and registered their first win of the season.
