At the age of 27-years-old, Kolkata, Bengal’s cricketer Saika Ishaque has taken the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) season by storm.
The slow left-arm orthodox bowler is representing the Mumbai Indians franchise in the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 edition.
She is one of the unknown talent picked up by the Mumbai Indians franchise in the inaugural WPL Auction that was conducted in February. And since her debut match against Gujarat Giants, Saika has certainly made some waves.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCC)’s big motive behind forming of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is to unearthed some new gems just like the IPL and it seems that Saika Ishaque is first of them.
