The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has into an exciting affair of bat and ball game. The all the 6 teams taking part in the competition are giving their best to deliver the best for their team.
Lahore Qalandars is so far the only team to have qualified for the PSL 2023 playoffs and the remaining teams are still in the hunt for a place in the knock-outs.
Islamabad United is the closest rival to Lahore Qalandars for a place at the top of the PSL 2023 points table. Islamabad’s victory in their previous match against Quetta Gladiators have put have them on 10 points in 7 matches with 5 wins.
In that match, Islamabad United won the match by 2 wickets all thanks to a brilliant performance from Colin Munro, who scored 63 runs in 29 balls while his team was chasing a target of 183 runs.
Other than Colin Munro, Pakistani wicketkeeper batsman Azam Khan also played a hugely important inning when he scored 35 runs in 25 balls, seemingly different game than the aggressive cricket he likes to play.
Meanwhile there is a incident involving Azam Khan is going viral on social media. In a video, it can be seen that Hasan Ali came running towards him and tried to jump on his shoulder, however, Azam failed to judge and carry him and he fell on ground, this gave a flashback to the fans when Hasan injured himself while celebrating taking a wicket.
