Indian wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik played a match winning knock against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 to hand Royal Challengers Bangalore their 2nd victory this season.
Royal Challengers Bangalore faced off the Rajasthan Royals in the match number 13 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. RCB won the match by 4 wickets, but had to work hard to get to there.
While chasing the target of 170 runs in 120 balls, Bangalore were 5 wickets down for 87 runs in the 12.3 overs. Then came Dinesh Karthik to the crease.
He didn’t took much and got going in the very next over itself, taking on Ravichandran Ashwin for 20 runs with partner Shahbaz Ahmed alongside him.
He didn’t stopped thereafter and carried on attacking the Rajasthan Royals bowlers, whether it was a pace bowler or a spin bowler. He scored 44 runs off 23 balls including 7 Fours and 1 Six to finish things off and win the match for the Royals, that is Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
