It was all nostalgic once again when the cricket fans witnessed their heroes from the past get at it again to do what they like the most in the Legends League Cricket, which being played in UAE.

The Legends League Cricket began with the opening match between the stars of the India playing for the India Maharajas against the stars of Asia of playing for the Asia Lions.

It was the India Maharajas who walked out victorious in the match, all thanks to a brilliant performance with the bat from Yousuf Pathan, who scored quickfire 80 runs from 40 balls. Earlier, his brother Irfan Pathan and Manpreet Gony rip apart the Asia Lions’ batting, restricting them to 175 runs.

During India Maharajas’ inning, we witnessed an old rivalry brew up once again when Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Kaif faced off once again.

Pakistan’s Shoaib Akhtar is one of the most deadliest bowler of all-time and holds the record for the fastest delivery in International cricket. No one could even dare step out against him, except for one man, that is Mohammad Kaif.

Kaif did the same while playing Shoaib Akhtar once again, trying to play him getting out of the crease, but instead, Akhtar bowled him a bouncer to which, Mohammad Kaif had no answer to it.

The same incident had happened way back in the year 2003 when Shoaib Akhtar had dismissed Mohammad Kaif while Kaif tried to step out of crease to play him.

After the conclusion of the match, Shoaib Akhtar during an interaction, jokingly said that he had warned Kaif of not to walk on him. He said that Kaif was walking towards him and he felt like wanting to him punch him, said while laughing. He further said that he has told many-a-times to not walk toward him.
