Kolkata Knight Riders’ Rinku Singh did wonders that only can dream of. The left-hand batter of the Kolkata Knight Riders smashed 5 Sixes in 5 Balls to win the match for the Kolkata team with 28 runs requiring from the last 5 balls.

It was intense match in Ahmedabad between the hosts Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Batting first, with the help of ruthless batting from Vijay Shankar in the last 2 overs, Gujarat Titans put on a huge 204 runs on the board against the Kolkata based franchise.

Now chasing the target, Rahmanullah Gurbaz got out early for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) after scoring 15 runs. Jagadeesan soon followed him.

But then KKR captain Nitish Rana and Venkatesh Iyer formed a great partnership. The former scored 45 runs while the latter missed out on a century after he was dismissed for 83 runs.

It was looking like a KKR match until Gujarat’s stand-in captain Rashid Khan pulled off a brilliant hat-trick dismissing Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur.

It all went down to the last over with Rinku Singh and Umesh Yadav on the strike. KKR required 28 runs in the last 5 balls. It was all done and dusted for Gujarat. But, Rinku had a different idea, he smashed Yash Dayal for 5 back-to-back Sixes in the last 5 balls to win the match for KKR.

KKR needs 28 runs from 5 balls.
