Pakistan’s top most T20 franchise league, the Pakistan Super League is set to clash with the India’s cash-rich T20 league the Indian Premier League (IPL) after ICC announced it’s Future Tour Program (FTP) for 2023 to 2027.

Today, on the 17th of August, the International Cricket Council (ICC), the world governing council of the game, announced the its Future Tour Program (FTP) for the next 4 years phase between 2023 to 2027.

After that announcement, it is now confirm that Pakistan’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to clash with the cash-rich and the most successful T20 league in the world, the Indian Premier League. However, it’s not instant and there nothing to worry about for the fans now.

But, in the year 2025, Pakistan Super League, which is originally played during February to March month, is very much likely to be moved to March to May window as the during its regular window, Pakistan will be hosting the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy in February.

This is the first time after the 1996 World Cup that Pakistan will be hosting an ICC event. But, this comes at a cost, they will forced to move their Pakistan Super League (PSL) from its regular window.

According to GeoSuper, the 2026 edition of the tournament will also be out of order as might be played between December 2025 and January 2026. However, the 12th edition of the tournament will return back to its place in 2027.

Today, the ICC have announced a packed Future Tour Program for every team, including Pakistan. In the four years phase between 2023 and 2027, Pakistan will be playing 27 World Test Championship matches, 47 ODI matches and 56 T20 Internationals.
