Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali has made a stellar start to his County Championship campaign this year as he bowled a brilliant yorker to dismiss James Bracey in the ongoing Division One game between Lancashire and Gloucestershire.
In the final session of the third day’s play, Ali took the new ball with veteran James Anderson. In the final ball of the 25th over, he bowled a quick yorker to wicketkeeper-batsman Bracey, and the ball was just so fast that the stumps were uprooted and teared apart in two pieces.

In the first innings, Hasan Ali bowled brilliantly for Lancashire, taking 6 for 47 in his 17 overs, which included six maidens. He has been in great form since coming to England and his performance will be good for his confidence considering his future for Pakistan.
After the tour of Australia, his form was a matter of concern and on several occasions he was seen struggling for wickets.
The 27-year-old had a tremendous start to his international career but his form has seen a decline since the T20 World Cup 2021. He was heavily criticized after he dropped the catch of Matthew Wade against Australia in the semi-final. In a recent interview, he made a big statement about dropping that catch of Matthew Wade and stated that it led to him not getting any proper sleep.
Meanwhile, Gloucestershire won the toss and elected to bat and they could only manage 252 runs in their first innings with half-centuries from Chris Dent and Ryan Higgins. In reply, Lancashire scored 556 for 7 in 166 overs with Dane Vilas scoring a brilliant 231 for them, while Josh Bohannon also scored a century.
