Indian cricket team and Pakistan cricket team, both the teams only come face to face against each other only on big stage i.e. World Cup, Asia Cup or other occasions. Apart from this, due to political reasons, these two arch-rival teams does not play against each other in any competitive Bilateral series.
But whenever the two teams take on each other on the cricket field, there always seems to be a different atmosphere among of people of the countries. Apart from the fans of both the countries, cricket lovers from other countries also enjoy the match. But if there is a series between these two teams, then its atmosphere will be different.
Many cricket lovers definitely want the Indian cricket team and Pakistan cricket team play Bilateral series against each other apart from the World Cup and other tournaments. The sight of one such fan was recently seen in Multan, Pakistan. A fan was holding a poster in the stands, welcoming Team India, which occurred during the Pakistan vs West Indies series.
On the poster, the Pakistan cricket team fan had writen that he welcomes India to Pakistan, “We want to welcome India.” In the current circumstances, it does not seem that a Bilateral series between the two teams is feasible.

However, the fans of the cricketing world is very much likely to witness the teams face-off at minimum twice this year, in the Asia Cup and in the T20 World Cup 2022.
Currently, Pakistan cricket team just wrapped up their series against the West Indies, winning 3-0 clean sweep in the ODI series. Whereas, on the other hand, Team India is struggling in the T20 series against South Africa, losing first 2 of the 5 match series. However, must be noted that senior and number of first choice players are not taking part in the series.
