Ravindra Jadeja IPL 2022

Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes that Ravindra Jadeja’s future with Indian Premier League (IPL) Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is on the verge of ending. However, according to him, there is nothing wrong in this. Vaughan says that the franchise should include another player in his place in the team so that both that player and the franchise are benefited.

CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan has confirmed that Jadeja is no longer a part of the Bio-Bubble as the franchise did not want to take too much risk with his injury.

Meanwhile, Michael Vaughan speaking to Cricbuzz about Jadeja said that seeing the way Jadeja and CSK have been doing this year, Jadeja might not be a part of this franchise next year, according to him.

He said that many questions are being raised about Jadeja’s place in the team and also that Jadeja’s performance has not been good this year and at the same time the team had given him the duty to lead the team, but there too he didn’t impress.

He continued that perhaps Jadeja may not play for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2023. He added that things has to come to an end, but added that maybe it is beneficial for both the parties.

“Things come to an end. Sometimes, a change might be good for both the player and franchise,” said Michael Vaughan. “But there has to be a question mark whether it might be coming to, kind of the end, Jadeja at Chennai,” he further added.
