The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Mega Auction was a crazy event as the teams went against each other outside of the cricket ground for the right to call a player their player.

The IPL 2022 Mega Auction was conducted on the 12th and the 13th of February in Bengaluru, where more than dozens of well recognised players earned huge amount, while some unknown talents also caught the eyes.

And one such unknown buy was done by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the form of Ramesh Kumar. A number of KKR fans where surprised when the KKR think-tank bid for the player.

Kolkata Knight Riders have gained a respect for giving opportunities to youngsters and unknown faces, who later on goes on become quite a well known name.

But, fans seemed disappointed with the decision to include Ramesh Kumar into the squad. But ever since then, social media has been buzzing about him as a video of him hitting big sixes has gone viral.

But, it’s not the normal lether ball, but it is the tennis ball. Ramesh Kumar is a local Punjabi tennis ball cricketer, but has made a name for himself as a hard-hitting batsman.

Ramesh Kumar is also known as Narine Jalalabad. What is more surprising about him is that, he never has played Indian domestic cricket, neither for Punjab nor for any other teams. It is a completely raw find by the KKR scouts.

According to some sources and reports in Bengali newspapers, KKR scouts were really impressed with his performances and called him up for trials at the KKR Academy, where he is said to have impressed the KKR management.

Indian Premier League is once again living up to it’s motto that is, “Where talent meets opportunity,” now it is to be seen whether Ramesh Kumar or also known Narine Jalalabad, can live up to the hype that he has received and go on to become a well recognised name for KKR.
