England’s explosive opening batsman Jason Roy has withdrawn from taking part in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Roy is said to have taken this decision considering the challenges of being in the bio bubble for a long time.
According to reports, Roy has informed to the franchise about his decision only last week. Gujarat Titans, captained by Hardik Pandya, bought Jason Roy in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction for his base price of Rs 2 crore. A replacement for him is yet to be confirmed by Gujarat Titans.
The 31-year-old English batsman had just recently took part in the Pakistan Super League 2022 edition, and performed brilliantly for them.
