According to a statement from CSK, Jadeja decided to focus on his game and Dhoni has accepted his decision.


CSK’s official press release stated that Ravindra Jadeja has decided to step down from the captaincy to focus more on his game and requested MS Dhoni to lead CSK. MS Dhoni has admitted to leading CSK in the larger interest and allowing Jadeja to focus on his game.

Many former cricketers have given their reaction in this whole matter. This time, it was the turn of former Team India all-rounder Irfan Pathan, who tweeted that he can understand Jadeja’s feeling and hoped that the all-rounder’s game is not affected because of this.
