After hosting Australia at home in the month of March, the Babar Azam led Men in Green will visit Sri Lanka in July and August for Test and limited overs series against the Island nation.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hosted a very successful home series against the Australian cricket team in March and April as Australia won the Test series and T20Is series, the Babar Azam led side won the One Day International (ODI) series.

According to some reports in Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and and the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has agreed that the Pakistan men’s cricket team will visit Sri Lanka in the month of July and August.

The reports states that the Men in Green will play 2 Test matches and 3 One Day International (ODI)s as part of the series. However, the dates and venues has not been announced yet. But, the reports say that both the boards will meet together later in the month to finalize the venue and the schedule.

It is also being said that Pakistan’s stay in Sri Lanka might be extended beyond the series as they will also take part in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 tournament, which is also scheduled to be played on the Island country.

Pakistan will also host another Island nation, the Caribbean side West Indies before heading for Sri Lanka. The series will be played in June. And as per latest updates, the PCB has removed all the COVID-19 guidelines after the curb of the novel virus has gone down in the country.
