“I believe he is the best” – Aussie cricketer Josh Hazlewood names the best T20 bowler of the generation

Australian cricket team’s currently one of the best and maybe one of the best in the world Josh Hazlewood has named the Best Bowler of the current Generation according to him. He picked none other than India’s Jasprit Bumrah. However, things ain’t going right for the Indian pacer.

According to many reports, the Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022. He will not be playing in the tournament due to a stress fracture in his back. Josh Hazlewood feels that the Indian team will miss him a lot as he is one of the best bowlers in T20 cricket.

On September 29th, some reports had confirmed that Bumrah would not play in pinnacle of T20 cricket. Speaking to reporters in Sydney on 30th of September, Hazlewood praised Bumrah and said, “I believe he is the best T20 bowler. Whether it is IPL or international cricket, it is very difficult to play his yorker balls. He is the most important bowler for the Indian team and the team will definitely miss him.”

In India’s ongoing series against South Africa, Jasprit Bumrah was not included in the playing XI for the first T20I, after which the BCCI issued an update on Twitter.

On 30th of September, the BCCI included Mohammad Siraj in place of Jasprit Bumrah in the team for the remaining two T20I matches against South Africa.

It is also being reported that if the news of Bumrah’s injury is serious, the pacer could miss a minimum of 4 to 6 months of cricketing action.

In a report, a BCCI official was quoted as saying on the condition of confidentiality, “It is confirmed that Jasprit Bumrah is not playing in the T20 World Cup. His injury is very serious and it will take at least 6 months to recover.”

According to the report, Mohammad Shami or Deepak Chahar can be included in the team in place of Jasprit Bumrah for the T20 World Cup 2022 as both the players are also in India’s standby list when the World Cup squad was announced.
