The 2012 U19 World Cup is a very special one for any cricket fans, especially the Indian cricket fans as Unmukt Chand led Team India lifted the prestigious youth level competition Trophy.


It was a stellar performance from the Indian team throughout the competition, especially the grand finale against Australia that was played on the 26th August. Australia scored 225 runs in their 50 overs and Team India captain Unmukt Chand’s crucial inning of 111 runs led the team to the victory.

After the final, Unmukt Chand became quite a famous name all around. However, as days progressed, the right-hand was lost as he couldn’t realise his potential. He is currently playing cricket in USA.
