3 cricketers who have scored a century and taken 5 wicket haul in an ODI match

Rohan Mustafa

Rohan Mustafa of UAE did this feat against Papua New Guinea in 2017. Rohan Mustafa was the captain of the UAE team in that match played in Abu Dhabi. He played an innings of 109 runs in 125 balls with the help of 7 fours and 1 six. Apart from this, he also performed tremendously with the ball, taking 5 wickets for 25 runs in just 8.2 overs.


Paul Collingwood

At number two in this list is former England cricket team captain Paul Collingwood. Paul Collingwood did this feat against Bangladesh in Nottingham on 21st June 2005. He took 6 wickets for just 31 runs in that match and also played an unbeaten innings of 112 runs.

England had made a huge score of 391 runs in that match and Collingwood played this tremendous innings in just 86 balls. Bangladesh’s team could only manage 223 runs in reply and they had to face defeat by 168 runs.

Viv Richards

This feat was achieved for the first time by former West Indies legend Viv Richards. Viv Richards was famous for his explosive batting and even the biggest bowlers used to fear in front of him. Although he also has 118 wickets to his name in ODI cricket, it shows that he was also a useful bowler.

Viv Richards scored 119 runs in just 113 balls against New Zealand on 18th March 1987. After that, he then contributed with the ball in hand, taking 5 wickets for 41 runs in 10 overs.
