Indian cricket team’s middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav shot to fame with his brilliant performance in the T20 format of the game. Was a superstar for the Mumbai Indians and then became a star player for Indian team as well.
And as BCCI’s habit, just because the player did well in one format, they gave him chance in other 2 formats as well. After doing so well in the T20I format for India, Suryakumar Yadav was given opportunity in ODI and Test format, a complete form of the game to T20 cricket where the batter has more freedom to play shots than ODI and Test.
With dependable middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer missing out the ODI series vs Australia due to back pain, Suryakumar Yadav is currently playing in his place.
However, the batter has failed miserably as he was dismissed for Golden Duck in both the ODI matches by Mitchell Starc. Now after his continued failures, the fans are now asking for Sanju Samson to be included in the team.
