Watch: Ravi Ashwin warns David Miller of Mankading, now a official run out in an all important match vs South Africa

The all important match between the Indian team and the South African ended with the latter getting the better of the Indian team as they won the match on the last over.

Batting first, Team India had a terrible start to the match as they lost 5 wickets for less than 50 runs. In the end, Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliant inning helped Team India to post a target of 134 runs.

It wasn’t the best of start for South Africa as well as they lost 2 wickets for 24 runs in the powerplay. However, an important partnership between Aiden Markram and David Miller guided the Proteas to the safety.

While Team India managed to dismiss Markram, David Miller remained not out and won the match for his team. However, there came a time in the match when Ashwin had the opportunity to run out Miller on the non-striker end (previously known as Mankading).

Ashwin is known for not hesitating to run out a batsman on the non-striker end if the batsman does leave the pitch before the ball has been bowled. However, he had different idea last night as he decided to warn Miller instead. Watch the video below.
