The final match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 season is currently ongoing as of writing this and Indian opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad is proving his qualities in the tournament.
Most recently, Ruturaj Gaikwad became quite famous for hitting 7 sixes in an over that he also converted into a double hundred and guided Maharashtra to the semi-finals of the tournament.
Gaikwad has been in tremendous form in the domestic circuit. Records say that he has scored 8 hundreds in previous 10 innings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He also went on to score a brilliant century against Saurashtra in the Final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 edition as well.
