The 2nd One Day International (ODI) between Pakistan and Australia ended with the former winning the match, making it level on the 3 match series scoreline after Australia won the first match of the series.
Aaron Finch led Australia had the lead going into the 2nd ODI match against Pakistan having won the 1st match, and a win here at the Gaddafi Stadium would have meant series win too, but Pakistan didn’t make it too easy for Australia.
The Men in Green the highest ever total in their history as they successfully chased down the target of 349 runs, with an over to spare. Pakistan captain Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq were heroes from the match for Pakistan as the duo scored Century.
While Imam-ul-Haq scored 106 runs, Babar Azam scored 114 runs before was dismissed by Nathan Willis. After his performance, there is still a certain former Pakistan cricketer who is not happy yet with Babar Azam’s performance.
Former Pakistan captain and all-rounder Shahid Afridi took to the social media to tweet out that Babar started well but lost his tempo and want to see him make a step-up and be a match winner.
Amazing WIN🇵🇰!Good start by @babarazam258 but lost his tempo, waiting for him to step up as a match winner. Regardless, great overall performances by @KhushdilShah_ @ImamUlHaq12 @iShaheenAfridi

But, it didn’t gone well with the fans. They thrashed Shahid Afridi for his statement. Here’s how Twitter reacted to Shahid Afridi’s statement on Babar Azam.
lost his tempo? he literally scored 114 (83) at a SR of 137..if that wasn’t a matchwinning innings, I haven’t seen one in my life..distasteful tweet. pic.twitter.com/T5sJpbf3w2

Not quite sure if I misunderstood this tweet, but is he actually throwing criticism at @babarazam258? Lost his tempo? Step up as a match-winner? You’re a legend but what game were you watching? He did every bit you said and more. He’s well on the way to being the GOAT.
