We are now just 24 hours away from the opening match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season where the defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on the 31st March.
While teams are all busy gearing up for their respective IPL 2023 opening matches, all the captains of the 10 teams reached Ahmedabad today to feature in Captains’ press meet and the Trophy unveiling.
Today, the BCCI took to their social media handle and posted a picture of 9 of the 10 teams standing with the Trophy on the ground. The missing captain is none other than 5 times IPL winning captain Rohit Sharma.
The Mumbai Indians captain not being present caused many to think what really has happened. Meanwhile Twitterati are predicting what could be the reason, while some are making fun of him, some are actually bragging about his achievements.
