Lucknow Super Giants recorded a brilliant thrilling win in the match number 68 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 to officially qualify for the IPL 2023 Playoffs.
Batting first, Lucknow Super Giants were in huge trouble having lost 5 wickets for 73 runs. But then from there Nicholas Pooran played an wonderful inning and scored 58 runs in 30 balls to take Lucknow to 176 runs.
Chasing the target, KKR got off to a flying start thanks to Jason Roy and Venkatesh Iyer. But as the game got deeper, the pitch got slower and assisted the spinners.
All were looking done and dusted for Lucknow to win the match. But then, the Rinku Singh storm hit Lucknow. Requiring 21 runs in the last over, Rinku Singh smashed 2 brilliant sixes and a boundary and couple of wides but in the end, Kolkata Knight Riders lost the match by just 1 runs.
