The Indian domestic cricket’s Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 is currently ongoing in full swing with team craving to get hold of the 50 overs Domestic Cup and while the players are all hoping to make a good empression ahead of IPL 2023 Auction next month.
However, one guy who is not fighting to find a suitor in the IPL 2023 Auction but is fighting to make it to the Playing XI in IPL 2023 for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is their star young Indian all-rounder Rajvardhan Hangargekar.
Hangargekar came into limelight during the U19 World Cup 2022 earlier this year and was picked-up by the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. However, he didn’t feature in any match despite team’s poor performance.
Hangargekar is now working hard to make it to the Playing XI next year. He is playing for the Maharashtra team in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy and displayed is prowess in hitting the ball out of the park during their match against Bengal a couple of days back.
Chasing a target of 280 runs, Maharashtra needed 4 runs of the last ball but then Hangargekar felt no pressure and hit bowler Shahbaz Ahmed for a Six over deep cover to win the match.
And now, the video of that shot is currently going viral on social media and people are already comparing him with CSK captain MS Dhoni.
