The 1st semi-final match of the T20 World Cup 2022 is done and dusted and we finally have a team who has qualified for the T20 World Cup 2022 final.
Pakistan were absolutely fantastic and got the win in the end by 7 wickets to enter the T20 World Cup 2022 final.
Daryl Mitchell and Kane Williamson played important knocks for the Kiwis ans helped them to 152 runs. While it was expected to be a fighting total, but some blazing batting from Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan ensured it was a easy task at hand for Pakistan.
While they still took it to the last over, it was always set to be a comfortable victory for the Men in Blue. They will face the winner of tomorrow’s match between India and England on the 13th of November.
Meanwhile, New Zealand have once again suffered a defeat in the knockout stages of a ICC event. New Zealand have reached the knockout rounds of any World Cup event every time since the year 2015, starting with the 2015 Cricket World Cup where they lost in the final.
Next they bowed out of the T20 World Cup 2016 from semis. They were also in the final of the Cricket World Cup 2019 edition but lost in a controversial circumstances. They then lost the 2021 T20 World Cup final as well and now they are eliminated from the semis.
While South Africa is the team whom the fans refer as choker for choking at the last moments, just like they did in this T20 World Cup 2022. But fans are now starting to call New Zealand the chokers of knockout rounds.
