"Divided by England, United by England" -Fans react as Cheteshwar Pujara and Mohammad Rizwan get along in Partnership in the County Championship

Well, it is always fascinating to see when India and Pakistan play cricket, irrespective of the format. But it is more exciting when you see players from both nations sharing the same dressing room and playing alongside each other. One such partnership is growing in England, too, in the County Championship. Fans who are enjoying the IPL should know that two sub-continental players are setting the stage on fire in England.

Veteran Indian test batter Cheteshwar Pujara and Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan are representing Sussex in the ongoing County Championship Division Two 2022. They are batting together at the moment and have added 140 runs off 235 balls for the sixth wicket. At lunch on Day 3, the score was 490/5. Pujara is unbeaten on 186 runs and Rizwan is unbeaten on 76 runs.

Notably, this is the third century for Cheteshwar Pujara in three matches, and he has one double century to his name in his debut match. So he will be eyeing his second double century after lunch. On the other hand, Rizwan has supported him very well and has taken the role of aggressor. He will also look to score his first century after the break.

Batting first, Durham were bowled out for 223 in the first innings and Sussex are on their way to a big total and will look to get a big lead before declaring the innings. However, this partnership has caught the eyes of many fans across the world. And Twitter was flooded with tweets from both nations. Fans are loving watching these two batting together.

A match between two nations is a very rare sight, and players from both countries paying together is even rarer. So here are some reactions from the fans.
