England defeated Pakistan in the all important T20 World Cup 2022 final match yesterday to win their 2nd ever T20 World Cup after last they won it back in the year 2010 under Paul Collingwood.
There were many heroes for England their in their glorious campaign. Some of them are Jos Buttler, Alex Hales, Adil Rashid and Sam Curran.
The latter of them all, Sam Curran was awarded with the Man of the Match for taking 3 wickets in the match and was also awarded the Player of the Tournament award for bagging a total of 13 wickets throughout the campaign.
Meanwhile, after winning it all, Sam Curran gave most of the credit for his performance to the Indian Premier League (IPL). Meanwhile note that, around the time of the IPL 2022, English players like Ben Stokes opted to keep themselves away from the league and many criticised IPL for many reasons. English people said that IPL is ruining the purest form of the game Test cricket.
But today, with Sam Curran and Jos Buttler’s comments after winning the tournament, the IPL fans are making fun of those who criticised.
