Gujarat Titans produced a brilliant comeback against the Lucknow Super Giants to record their 4th win of the match.
Batting first, the Gujarat Titans scored only 135 runs in their 20 overs and lost 6 wickets. It was Hardik Pandya who was the star with the bat for the Gujarat side. Hardik scored 66 runs in 50 balls.
Lucknow Super Giants while chasing the target, got off to a cracking start. They scored 55 runs for the 1st wicket and in the powerplay itself.
But, as the game progressed, the pitch got even tougher to bat on. LSG Captain KL Rahul struggled to score big runs as he scored 68 runs in 61 balls. Requiring 12 runs of the last over, Mohit Sharma bowled beautifully to get 4 wickets in 4 balls with 2 of them being run out. In the end, Gujarat Titans won the match by 7 runs.
