Day 3’s action of the rescheduled 5th Test match is currently ongoing in Birmingham, where Team England took the early control of the play, but then, Jasprit Bumrah produces a brilliant catch to dismiss to England captain Ben Stokes, most notably, he just dropped his catch in the previous ball.
In pursuit of Team India’s 416 runs in the first inning, England lost their momentum in day 2, losing 5 wickets from the half day of play that they got.
However, on the start of Day 3, two England batsman Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes started playing some crunchy shots, taking it to the bowlers to break their rhythm.
There was an opportunity when Ben Stokes was dropped for the score 18 runs by Shardul Thakur off the bowling of Jasprit Bumrah.
Few overs later, off the bowling of Shardul Thakur, Stokes once tried for a hard shot, which carried low to Bumrah and he dropped the catch. But, all the wrong was done right the next ball when Stokes tried for a same shot, but this time, Bumrah was alart and took a beautiful catch diving to his left.
