While former India captain Virat Kohli’s lean run of form continues, his main rival and Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam is continuing on the gain as he most recently broke another of Kohli’s record.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) most recently released a new updated ICC T20I ranking and Babar Azam has retained his place at the top of T20I Ranking. Thus, this makes him the now the longest owner of the 1st place position in the T20I Ranking, overtaking Kohli.
During his supremacy last decade, scoring tons of runs in all of the format of the game, Kohli was at the top of the ICC T20I Batsman Ranking for 1013 days.
But with the latest June month update, it is now Babar Azam who is keeping hold of the best T20I batsman in the ICC Ranking for the long run as he has managed to overtake Kohli’s number.
With this achievement from the Pakistan skipper, the fans of Babar Azam and Pakistan team are quite happy, while there is downward faces for Kohli’s fans, who hope that the run machine will be back to his usual self this year itself.
