A fascinating cricketing action is currently ongoing in Sri Lanka’s Galle International Cricket stadium between the hosts and Pakistan. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has been a lone a warrior for his team as guides them out of the mess.
The first of the scheduled 2 match Test series is currently ongoing in Sri Lanka’s Galle International Stadium. Sri Lanka posted 222 runs while batting first with Dinesh Chandimal scoring the most, 76 runs.
However, while their bowlers did a great job, the batsmen disappointed Pakistan fans. The Men in Green lost their first 7 wickets for just 85 runs. Yasir Shah departed at 112 and Hasan Ali departed at 148 runs.
However, there was only one man standing throughout, and that’s the team’s skipper Babar Azam. While wickets kept falling on the one hand, Babar kept it going from the other end and finally scored what is his 8 Test century.
He had a great assist from the other end from their number 11 Naseem Shah, who has faced 50 balls and has scored 5 runs as of writing this.
