The big final match of the T20 World Cup 2022 is currently ongoing at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) as both the teams aim their 2nd ever T20 World Cup title.
After winning the toss, England captain Jos Buttler opted to bowl first. And how did they do justice to their decision. They have restricted Pakistan to just 137 runs and England need 138 runs to be crowned champion.
Meanwhile, Pakistan fans have been finding similarities between their T20 World Cup 2022 campaign and 1992 Cricket World Cup. While there has been a lot of coincidence between both the world cup for Pakistan, there is one thing that didn’t go their way.
A Twitter user shared an interesting fact that when Pakistan won the 1992 World Cup, Imran scored the most runs for Pakistan in the final, whereas Babar Azam could only score 32 runs and Pakistan’s highest run scorer in the match is Shan Masood who scored 38 runs.
Captain Imran Khan was the highest scorer in the 1992 World Cup final. So Babar Azam must stay and score. Just saying #PakVsEngFinal #T20Iworldcup2022Final

Seeing what has been happening to #ImranKhan, #BabarAzam has decided not to repeat 1992.#PAKvENG #EngvsPak #T20WorldCupFinal
