Match number 11 of the Pakistan Super League 2023 was a epic clash between Multan Sultans and the Karachi Kings on the 22nd of February in Multan.
Multan Sultans picked-up a last over victory over the Karachi side, thanks to brilliant last 4 balls bowled by Multan’s pacer Abbas Afridi.
Batting first, captain Mohammad Rizwan led the charge for the Multan inning with a brilliant Hundred. He scored 110 runs and remained not out. Shan Masood also come up with 51 runs as Multan had 196 runs on the board.
Chasing the target, Karachi Kings lost the match despite chasing 22 runs in the last over. James Vince was a key for the Karachi side as he scored 75 runs in 34 balls. Imad Wasim also added valuable contribution of 46 runs.
In the last over, Karachi needed 22 runs and bowler Abbas Afridi bowled the first ball a no ball for height which was slammed for a Six. He gave 16 runs in 2 balls, including the no ball and wides.
