In the first two ODIs, it was Mitchell Starc’s ruthless bowling that got the better of Suryakumar Yadav. However, in the 3rd and the series decider, while chasing 270 runs, Suryakumar Yadav entered the pitch lower down the order at number 7 and was immediately sent back on the 1st ball by Adam Zampa, even though Suryakumar Yadav has been included in the team because he plays spinners well.
