Meanwhile Virat Kohli, the former India captain is considered one of the greatest batsman of all time. His brilliance with the bat in all formats of the game has been what led the Indian cricket team to be so successful today.

As of March 2023, Virat Kohli stares at the landmark number of 100 International Century. The former Indian batsman and one of the greatest, also known as God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar is the only batter yet to do so.

Virat Kohli currently has 75 International centuries to his name. Meanwhile, former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has stated that had Virat Kohli played during his era, Kohli couldn’t have even scored 30 or 50 centuries.

As quoted by SportsAmaze, Shoaib Akhtar said, “Virat is a great batter, but we had great bowlers during my time, and Kohli would haven’t scored 30 or a maximum of 50 hundreds if he was a part of my era. Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis were deadly and wouldn’t have given easy runs to Virat.”

Note that, both Virat Kohli and Shoaib Akhtar have only faced off in the same back in the year 2010 when Kohli was young into his career. However, there was no face-off between the two as Virat Kohli was dismissed earlier in the match.
