Suresh Raina T20 World Cup 2022

Not many days are left for the first match of the Indian team in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022. Team India’s first match is arch-rival Pakistan itself. At the same time, Suresh Raina has described a player as the most important for Team India in the T20 World Cup 2022.

According to Suresh Raina, Indian cricket team’s middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav can prove to be a game changer for Team India and he can play am important role if the Indian team wants to win their 2nd T20 World Cup, however, he added that Hardik Pandya will be Team India’s most important player.

Talking about Suryakumar Yadav, he is in tremendous form at the moment. Recently he has scored a lot of runs playing for the Indian team ever since making his debut in 2021.

This is the reason why everyone is considering him very important for the T20 World Cup. Suryakumar Yadav’s run in the middle order is very important. The team has great batsmen in the top order and that is why Suryakumar Yadav’s runs in the middle order put the team in a very strong position.

According to Suresh Raina, Suryakumar Yadav has tremendous potential. However, he believes that Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya will be the most important for Team India.

Raina said, “The way Suryakumar Yadav has played the game in the last two years, I want him to play with the same intent. He is like a dark horse. His angle and bat swing are tremendous. However, Hardik Pandya is going to be the most important for me.”

He said that Hardik Pandya will control the game and bowl the much-needed overs for the Indian team. He also compared Hardik with MS Dhoni and believes that Hardik will finish the matches like MS Dhoni did for the team for so many years.

While he is very optimistic about Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, he doesn’t rule out Arshdeep Singh, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as well. As for Team India, they take Pakistan on the 23rd October in their 1st match of the T20 World Cup 2022.
