Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar believes that Mohsin Khan’s stint with Mumbai Indians (MI) was very important. Even though he did not played a single match with the franchise, due to which, all the batsmen almost failed to learn Mohsin line and length.
Let us tell you that Mohsin is playing for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) this season and his performance has been commendable. Earlier, he was part of the Mumbai Indians in the year 2018 and after that in 2020-2021.
Mohsin was included into the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. According to Shoaib Akhtar, Mohsin has practiced a lot in the nets for Mumbai Indians, which is benefiting him this season.
Talking about the performance of Mohsin this edition, he has so far taken 13 wickets in 8 matches at an average of 13.23 and an economy rate of 5.93. He took 4 wickets for 16 runs in the league match against Delhi Capitals (DC).
Before the Lucknow vs Bangalore match tonight, Shoaib Akhtar while talking to Sportskeeda said that, “It was good that Mumbai did not play him (Mohsin Khan). That’s because he was being readied for another team. Mohsin has done well so far, but should look to keep improving himself and pick up more wickets.”
