PCB confirms the venue and date for the first-ever Pakistan Junior League

This will be one of the first T20 leagues of its kind that will give a platform to U19 stars. They will interact with overseas U19 players in order to improve their skills. Overseas U19 stars will be accompanied by their guardians at the cost of the franchise, as per the rules of the league. The Pakistan Junior League plan perfectly fits with the recently launched PCB Pathway Cricket Programme.

On Friday, the PCB released further details regarding the T20 tournament. It will feature six city-based teams that will play a total of 19 matches. Each team can pick an iconic player for their team as a mentor or coach. Furthermore, as the next step, PCB is planning to add the auction model to it after Eid Al-Fitr for broadcasting rights. Interestingly, broadcasting rights will be available for everyone to grab because the PCB is looking to work closely with all stakeholders.
