Meanwhile, on December 31st, Pakistan team captain Babar Azam reached the hospital to meet the team’s number one fan. Not only this, he also gave his cap to the fan as a gift. The video of this meeting has been shared by PCB through its Twitter account.


Let us tell you that this little boy lying on the hospital bed became happy when he saw Babar Azam sitting beside him wearing a mask. During this, the staff present there also looked very happy. The boy told that he follows Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi.

This Pakistani fan was also aware that in the upcoming season of PSL, Babar will be captaining Peshawar Zalmi, during which former captain of the team Wahab Riaz will also play with him.


As soon as Babar came to know that the boy was also a fan of Rizwan, he asked him if he would like to talk to Rizwan, the boy nodded his head. Babar took out the phone from his pocket without losing time and got the fan talking to Rizwan through video call.

The fan revealed that he always prays that his team wins every tournament. He also said that when Matthew Wade defeated Pakistan by hitting three sixes in the semi-final match of 2021 T20 World Cup, his eyes were in tears.

The fan also said how he was teased when Babar come out to bat in every match. The fan ended by saying that he was very happy to meet Babar and Rizwan. During the meeting, the Pakistani captain also prayed for the safety of the little fan. On the other hand, talking of the Test series being played between Pakistan and New Zealand, the first match was a draw. The second Test of the series is to be played from January 2.
