Former India U-19 captain Unmukt Chand got hitched to Sanjana Khosla yesterday night. The right-handed batter shared the happy news with fans via a social media post. “Today, we decided on forever! 21.11.21,” Unmukt Chand captioned four photos from his marriage on Twitter.
Unmukt also tagged the Twitter account of his wife, and some fans noticed the tweets she posted earlier this year before IPL Auction 2021. Sanjana quoted an old tweet from the Rajasthan Royals team and added that they must consider Unmukt for the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. Fans should note that this was before the 2012 ICC U-19 World Cup winning captain announced retirement from Indian cricket.
Rajasthan Royals had signed him back in 2014, but they released him from the squad only after he played one match for the team. Sanjana quoted an old tweet from the Rajasthan Royals team on January 5, 2021 and wrote: “Given the best performances in T20. Must consider for IPL 2021.”

Wife of Unmukt Chand also tagged multiple IPL franchises in a tweet
Another tweet posted on the same date had Simran Khosla asking the Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals asking why they were overlooking a player like Unmukt Chand. She used the hashtage #WeWantUC and wrote:

Unmukt Chand has now retired from Indian cricket and moved to the United States. He will soon be in action in Big Bash League 2021/22.
