Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022 officially due to a back injury. Obviously the fans of Indian team are very disappointed with Bumrah’s exit for the Gala event. With Bumrah now out of the tournament, India’s weakness in death bowling is also very much exposed.
Had Jasprit Bumrah been in the team then perhaps the team’s position would have been somewhat better but the Indian fast bowlers will not be seen playing in the all important event. Many people are giving their own reaction to Bumrah’s injury, with this the Indian fast bowler has given a befitting reply to all the critics through his Instagram account.
Let us tell you, Jasprit Bumrah did not play in the Asia Cup 2022 due to injury and he played only one match in the recently concluded T20I series against Australia. He was also out of the three-match T20I series played against South Africa.
Many people were criticizing him for this. Many people said that he has now become just a franchise player. Regarding this, the Indian fast bowler has shut the mouth of these critics on Instagram in his own way.
Jasprit Bumrah has shared a story. He posted a popular quote by Winston Churchill. It reads, “You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at the dogs that are barking at you.”
After being out of the T20 World Cup, Jasprit Bumrah had tweeted that, “I am gutted that I won’t be a part of the T20 World Cup this time, but thankful for the wishes, care and support I’ve received from my loved ones. As I recover, I’ll be cheering on the team through their campaign in Australia.”
