T10 League franchise Delhi Bulls have included veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh in their squad for the sixth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. With the addition of Harbhajan Singh, the team’s bowling has become even stronger now, as well as the former Indian player can also contribute significantly with batting down the order.
On the other hand, defending champions Deccan Gladiators have included former India all-rounder Suresh Raina in their team.
Let us tell you, Harbhajan Singh made his international debut in 1998. He was a part of the winning team in the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup. Not only just that, the Indian off-spinner has been a part of the IPL Cup winning team thrice. Harbhajan Singh has taken 711 wickets in his career.
On the other hand, Suresh Raina recently announced his retirement from international cricket and he will be seen playing only in league cricket internationally and not even in the IPL as well.
Suresh Raina is currently playing for India Legends in the Road Safety World Series 2022, which is led by the legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar. On the other hand Harbhajan Singh is leading the Manipal Tigers in the second edition of Legends League Cricket (LLC). Both the Indian players will now be seen playing in the Abu Dhabi T10 League starting on 23rd November 2022 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.
Harbhajan Singh said before his first T10 tournament that, “It is a lot of fun and a new challenge for bowlers. I am very happy that I am playing for Delhi Bulls. I know it is not going to be easy for the bowlers but I sincerely hope that I can perform well and play a vital role in my team’s victory. I had a lot of talks with team owner Nilesh Bhatnagar who is also a very good friend of mine and now I am praying that I can do well in this tournament.”
